The
StreamingCulture Network has been providing streaming media services to
arts and culturual organizations since 2000. Many prominent
institutions have worked with StreamingCutlure including:
Lincoln Center Inc., Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Jazz at
Lincoln Center, Opera America, Massachusetts Cultural Council and The
League of American Orchestras (just to name a few).
StreamingCulture
was originally conceived as a project of the New Media Lab of The CUNY
Graduate Center, StreamingCulture has received funding from
the Ford, Rockefeller, AT&T, and Norton Family Foundations, The
Baisley Powell Elebash Fund and NYSCA. Special project
funding has been provided by the Andrew W. Mellon and Peter J. Sharp
Foundations.
Playback
the Arts is StreamingCulture's commercial offering -- a SAS
(software as service) specifically geared to the marketing and
publishing needs of nonprofit organizations. It is our goal
to offer cost effective, high quality solutions for the nonprofit
marketplace and eventually enable organizations to monetize their
multimedia content.
